ActivitiesThe Royal University Institute for European Studies has among its main tasks the teaching and promotion of European affairs. The International Centrer for Arbitration, Mediation and Negotiation (CIAMEN) of the University Institute for European Studies organized the panel “An Introduction to the Use of Non-Jurisdictional Mechanisms (ADR): The Notions of Prevention, Management, Resolution, and Settlement of Conflicts”, with the participation of the speakers Julio Cesar Betancourt, research director of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London, Mariana Hernández-Crespo associate professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and founder of the UST International ADR Research Network and Helena Soleto professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid.
