The Royal University Institute for European Studies has among its main tasks the teaching and promotion of European affairs. To this end, the Institute regularly celebrates diverse academic events, counting on the collaboration of different European institutions and organizations, scholars, politicians and researchers of wide recognition in the domestic and international sphere. The Royal University Institute of European Studies of San Pablo CEU University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, is developing a research project on the relations of Spain with China in the framework of the European Union.

As part of this project, a seminar will be held with Spanish companies to study the possibilities of collaboration with Chinese companies within the framework of the new European mechanism for the control of direct foreign investment, as well as to identify possible obstacles and factors of complementarity between Chinese and Spanish companies.
