ActivitiesThe Royal University Institute for European Studies has among its main tasks the teaching and promotion of European affairs. To this end, the Institute regularly celebrates diverse academic events, counting on the collaboration of different European institutions and organizations, scholars, politicians and researchers of wide recognition in the domestic and international sphere. EU Enlargement: Ambition, Hope and Challenges of an extended union

The Institute for European Studies, CEU San Pablo University and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations would like to invite you to a panel discussion on ‘EU Enlargement: Ambition, Hope and Challenges of an extended union’, which will be held on 20 October 2016 at the Institute for European Studies, CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. 
 
Representatives of the European Commission, Embassy to Bosnia & Herzegovina Republic, the World Bank, Representatives of the CEU San Pablo University and other universities and think tanks will discuss during the first panel the positive impact of EU Enlargement and the challenges ahead in the candidate and potential candidate countries and in the second panel the successes and challenges of the EU Enlargement process. 

 All participants are cordially invited to join in a networking reception following the event.
