The International Centre for Arbitration, Mediation and Negotiation (CIAMEN) of the Royal University Institute of European Studies of the CEU San Pablo University organised the 'First Forum on the Legal Security of Investments. Legal Security in Colombia, Mexico, Chile and Peru'

At this event, various experts in the field presented their impressions on the agreements for the promotion and protection of investments in Latin American countries, the experiences of national companies that invest in the aforementioned countries, as well as the vision of the Spanish State with regard to these actions.

Antonio José Fernández Martos-Montero, Director General of International Trade and Investment (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness), Luis Martí Mingarro, President of the Ibero-American Centre for Arbitration (CIAR) and of the Ibero-American Union of Lawyers' Associations and Groups (UIBA), Francisco Carrillo Flórez, Ambassador of Colombia in Spain, and José María Beneyto, Director of the Royal University Institute of European Studies and of CIAMEN, were some of the speakers at this forum together with other important figures in the field.

The event was held on 1 June 2015, from 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Law of the CEU San Pablo University (Avenida del Valle, 21 - Madrid).
