“ARBITRAJE” JOURNAL IN OPEN ACCESS

We are pleased to announce that since June 1, 2024, the journal Arbitraje. Revista de Arbitraje Comercial y de Inversiones is available in an open digital format (Open Access) through the CEU Scientific Journals platform. This will allow its authors to be cited internationally and their publications to be easily found in the most relevant databases and indexing systems. Likewise, open access will ensure that this periodical publication is always available to universities, law firms, companies, judicial bodies, and arbitration institutions worldwide.

The journal Arbitraje is the most prominent scientific journal in the Spanish language on international arbitration. It has been published since 2008 by the International Center for Arbitration, Mediation, and Negotiation (CIAMEN) of the Royal University Institute of European Studies at CEU San Pablo University, Madrid. The journal has published more than 45 issues of high academic rigor, with a strict double-blind peer review process. This has allowed it to be cited in arbitral awards, judicial decisions, and publications, as well as to be selected by the General Council of the Judiciary of Spain (CGPJ) for use by members of the judiciary.

The decision to publish it with open access represents a qualitative leap for the consolidation of the journal as the leading Spanish-language publication in international arbitration. We are therefore pleased to present the new platform of the Revista de Arbitraje Comercial y de Inversiones, which will permanently host all articles since its first publication and will maintain its printed format through CEU Ediciones.
