CEAP

The Center for European Union, Asia, and Pacific Studies at the Royal University Institute for European Studies focuses on the study of relations between the European Union and this part of the world, recognizing the growing importance of Asian nations in multilateralism and the European Union’s role in global governance.

The Center will serve as a forum for reflection on issues such as politics, geopolitics, security, and history; the humanities and social sciences; economics and finance; digital transformation and innovation; and the environment and climate. The center’s coordinator is Javier Porras Belarra, a professor of European Union Law, Public International Law, and International Relations at CEU San Pablo University.
