Associate Professor of European Union Law at the San Pablo CEU University. He is the Head of the Public Law Department at the Law School and Principal Research Fellow and Coordinator of the Competition Policy Centre at the Institute of European Studies of the same University.
He has a European PhD in Law, and has carried out postgraduate studies at the College of Europe (Bruges) and the European University Institute of Florence.
He has published and participated in several relevant international research projects on European Constitutional issues closely related to the current proposal such as “The Future of the European Constitution Treaty and scenarios for solving the European Constitutional impasse” (2006-07) or “The Political analysis of the internal reporting and decision-making of the EP delegation to the European Convention” (2008-09).
He is author and/or editor of 8 books and numerous articles in legal journals.
