ActivitiesThe Royal University Institute for European Studies has among its main tasks the teaching and promotion of European affairs. To this end, the Institute regularly celebrates diverse academic events, counting on the collaboration of different European institutions and organizations, scholars, politicians and researchers of wide recognition in the domestic and international sphere. Concluding event: ‘EU-China: Comparative experiences and contributions to global governance in the fields of climate change, trade and competition’

The Royal University Institute for European Studies, altogether with the Université Catholique de Louvaine, organizes the Concluding event of the Jean Monnet Network  ‘EU-China: Comparative experiences and contributions to global governance in the fields of climate change, trade and competition’. The event will take place on 28 September 2023 in Brussels, at the European Institute for Asian Studies (Rue de la Loi 26, 10th floor).

During the Conference, a group of experts will address the following panels:

1. Setting the scene: EU-China relationship: current challenges.

2. Trade, competition and investment relations.

3. EU-China relationship and mitigation of climate change.

4. Taxation matters.
