COMUNICATIONS ACTIVITIES

Among the programmed activities is the organization of European Awareness Day (EAD) in each capital city, where senior officials from all ministries (Foreign Affairs, Education), regional authorities, European offices and similar bodies will participate. The idea is that EAD can become a tool for them in their institutional activities, as has already happened in Italy.

European Awareness Day will be organized in different events:

EVENT 1. THE MUSICIAN

  • In a theatre in the capitals of all the countries involved, with a capacity of 500 seats
  • It will be aimed at a wide audience of high school and university students (16-22 years old) and their teachers
  • Under the title: "Europe: what a passion. A stormy love story"
  • At the end they will be given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss current issues related to EU policies, with experts previously selected by the project partner countries

EVENT 2. DEBATE

An afternoon round table with academics, think tanks and civil society representatives, to share and discuss their views on the present and future of the EU (political and economic union)

EVENT 3. SEMINAR

A seminar with stakeholders (at least 6 institutions involved) the day after European Awareness Day (EAD) on "communicating and teaching Europe". The aim will be to learn about strategies and activities in the different countries and to promote the exchange of best practices.
