ActivitiesThe Royal University Institute for European Studies has among its main tasks the teaching and promotion of European affairs. To this end, the Institute regularly celebrates diverse academic events, counting on the collaboration of different European institutions and organizations, scholars, politicians and researchers of wide recognition in the domestic and international sphere. International Conference: ‘EU-China: Comparative experiences and contributions to global governance in the fields of climate change, trade and competition’

The Royal University Institute for European Studies and its Centre for Competition Policy will organize the International Conference on  ‘EU-China: Comparative experiences and contributions to global governance in the fields of climate change, trade and competition’.  The event will take place on 14th-15th  July 2022 in Madrid, in the Aula Magna of San Pablo-CEU University (Julián Romea, 23, Madrid).

 

The conference will be hosted by José M. Beneyto, Director of the Royal University Institute for European Studies, and Jerónimo Maillo, Coordinator of the Centre for Competition Policy. A group of experts will address the following panels:

 

  1. EU-China and Global governance.
  2. Understanding China’s and Europe’s mutual future relations.
  3. Trade & Investments.
  4. Tax-related  issues.
  5. Climate Change.
  6. Competition policy governance and the Digital Era.
