Energy taxation and State aid control: looking for a better coordination and efficiency

The University Institute for European Studies at CEU San Pablo University, with the support of the Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission, organizes the I Experts Seminar on “The role of tax incentives on the energy sector under Climate Change´s challenges”. 

The speakers are Prof. Dr. Pasquale Pistone (IBFD) and  Prof. Dr. Iñaki Bilbao (CEU Cardenal Herrera). The discussant is  Ms. Isabel  Martinez Gil (REPSOL). The proposed activity aims to review the role of tax incentives on the energy sector and its relation with tax expenditures, command and control regulation and other instruments to promote the reduction of polluting emissions. The guidelines of the seminar will send to the participants.

The seminar took place at the meeting room “Sala de Juntas de Rectorado” (Calle Isaac Peral  58 – Madrid) on the 11th December 2014 at 17,00 h.
